June 23, 2014 Terra L. Fletcher will be working with the National Association of Tax Professionals. She will be helping them to produce tax textbooks that are easier to read and use. (We’d all appreciate that right?) 🙂 Fletcher will present two four-hour workshops to NATP staff in Greenville, Wisconsin.

Objectives

- Class will work hard to identify and correct writing weaknesses and bad habits

This course will cover best practices for business and management writing. Learn how to create clear, concise textbooks in less time. Specific needs to be highlighted include the benefits of being direct and conversational, using an active voice, separating clarifying information, and making publications easier to read. We’ll learn about pre-writing and organization as well as how to best use graphic enhancements (charts and callouts). Following this four-hour courses the NATP will produce textbooks of higher quality, enhancing their reputation and credibility.
