- Problem Solving & Lean Concepts (for the office)Want to make data-driven decisions? Join us for this session to learn the tools and techniques that will help.
Learning Objectives:
– Distinguish between problem solving and decision making in order to identify “true” decisions
– Using a block of tools, select the appropriate tool for the specific situation
– Experience the tools in action using case scenarios

- Leading Without Authority You’re good enough, you’re smart enough, but you’re not the boss. Even if you are, wouldn’t you rather not have to say, “because I said so?” In a world of short-tempered, stressed-out bosses, stand out by being consultative and empowering. Use the right words and be respectful and you’ll gain the loyalty and support of those around you.
In this session, we’ll develop persuasion and negotiation skills while building relationships at work. Learn to communicate with urgency without causing undue stress. Find out how to use your expertise to get people to do what you want because they want to. Develop an eye for mutual benefits and all parties will win. - Instructor: Terra L. She has a decade of experience in business development and marketing. She has presented 120+ workshops, panels, and classes on leadership and communication. Terra has trained the Wisconsin Library Association, National Association of Tax Professionals, Prevea Health, the National Association of Broadcasters, Smart Customer Service 2018, Bellin Health, the C.A. Enhance your communication skills and build more productive working relationships for yourself and your organization.
