Savor the Sweat
EWWW! I enjoy working out and I work out hard (3rd place in last Saturday’s 5K, thank you very much), but I don’t think anyone wants to “savor” sweat. Sure, it feels good to earn your shower, but this is too far Gatorade. Then again, it got me talking about it. And maybe most extreme athletes savor their sweat and I’m the odd one…
Packaging Matters
This was spotted in the August 5th issue of Bloomberg Businessweek in the What I Wear to Work article featuring Alicia Jay. The Game Operations Manager for the Golden State Warriors recognizes that packaging is part of the product. Here she is mentioning the necklace she got from Bauble Bar.
United Way Golf Outing
I couldn’t resist the simple graphic of this. Using the golf ball for the “o” caught my attention. The black background stands out amongst a sea of mostly-white ads and is appropriate for night golf.
#HondaLove
The hashtag has been a trending topic on Twitter. The car manufacturer, Honda, has done a great job leveraging social media to connect with people throughout this campaign. (And according to the book I’m currently reading by Seth Godin we should all be driving used Civics. Sigh.)
